WOW! What a weekend! Sampdoria are living a dream! with 5 wins out of 6 they are officially the Italian team with the best record and are top of the log, fair enough it’s not even 7 games into the season, but Samp can really fill their fans with pride in how they got to Number 1 .. beating reining champions and favorites Inter, a hard fought match that they claimed I predicted a great performance from Cassano and he didn’t disappoint no goal but an assist to Pazzani for the only goal of the match went just as well in an excellent game.. Samp Are top
The nerazzurri will feel could’ve got something from their visit to Genova but Eto’o missed some golden opportunities and with Ibra scoring nicely in the Catalans .. wonder whose missing who more? one thing for sure Inter missed Thiago Motta and more so Sneijder and even though I felt Balotelli and Stankovic played well they def missed something in the midfield and that was creativity.
The team that had all my money on being top was Juve and they lost 2 vital points in the final minutes of the game, with Bologna snatching a draw! I blame Juve completely for this, they didn’t drive home their dominance and score a 2nd If I have any advice for Ferrara its Amauri hasn’t been playing well!! Trezeguet and Iquainta are the form strikers lets see them play together !

The rest of the top four sees Fiorentina climb up there for the first time this season with a good away win at Livorno (something Milan couldn’t manage)
Bari completed a double Milano draw holding AC to 0-0 at the San Siro, after their 1-1 with Inter on the opening day they’ll be smiling about that.

In the other game to watch Udinese over powered Genoa 2-0!! Di Natale finding the back of the net AGAIN! That’s and incredible 8 from 5!!!
They travel to the San Siro to face Inter this coming weekend and the champs will be looking to bounce back from last weekends loss and prove they are the best in Italy and they’ll have to be at their best to stop this Udinese side!
Juve have a tough away fixture in Sicily, Palermo will welcome back Amauri and Miccoli will face his old teammates, going to be interesting.
A Lombardy Derby as Milan travel a couple of kms east to Bergamo, to face a struggling Atalanta..
Another big game will be Lazio who has so far disappointed this season travel to a difficult game (as Liverpool just found out) in Florence, Fiorentina are defiantly picking up momentum and look for them to be strong for their Roman visitors.
Roma face Napoli in two struggling teams both underachieving lets see who can get their season and their name moving up the table …
So some worthy games this weekend and I’m betting on more than one surprise!
